Skewed and Reviewed owner Gareth Von Kallenbach spoke with Jim Demonakos, the Director of the Emerald City Comicon in Seattle. The convention has grown rapidly in the last few tears and has become a massive draw for fans of comics, movies, television, pop culture, gaming and more.
EB: Funko has unveiled its second wave of Emerald City Comic-Con exclusives, which feature a bunch of Hanna-Barbera characters, Muftak from Star Wars, and WWII Captain America among others.
EB: Funko has shown off its first wave of exclusive collectibles for this year’s Emerald City Comic-Con, and they’re mostly from classic cartoons and TV shows. Personally, I think the first wave is pretty weak, but that’s based on my personal preferences in Pop lines, which are mostly rooted in the Star Wars, Marvel, and DC franchises.
EB: If you can’t make the Emerald City Comic Con this March you can still score some exclusive collectibles thanks to Nerd Block and ReedPOP. They’ve teamed up to release a Limited Edition Block for the ECCC, which will ship with nine collectibles, and five of them will be exclusives.
