The Hunger Games Review. The Hunger Games is a simple tale about a government forcing teenagers to kill each other for sport, with complex statements about society, the media, class warfare and rebellion.
My daughter went to see the midnight showing and she said it was awesome...can't wait to see it...I'm so excited!
It's a good movie, i wish it would have been a bit darker like the book.
It probably would have been better but they wanted to keep that PG13 rating so they could bring in a bigger range of fans.
your right about the pg-13 thing, it was probably a very wise decision for the studio.
yeah I went to the midnight viewing with a friend and your right on the pg 13 thing, the place was crawling with underage kids....I think my friend and I were two of the 5 over 20 everyone else was in highschool or middleschool. But on to the movie thought it was great I'd give it higher than a 3.5, it was worth the midnight release for me.
'The Hunger Games is a simple tale about a government forcing teenagers to kill each other for sport' Without knowing anything about the movie or the books it has been based on the first thing I thought was 'Hello Battle Royale!'
well it's the same concept with different settings
Watched it last night. All I can say is its PG 13 for a reason. Some cheesy bits spoilt it for me.
It's a "horror"?
just watched it and it was really nice. haven't read the book yet though, but after watching it the next thing to do is to read the book
