Eddie Izzard is in final negotiations to co-star in NBC’s Munsters reboot.
The comic actor will co-star and have a producers credit on writer-producer Bryan Fuller’s dramatic revamp of the campy classic sitcom, which is now titled Mockingbird Lane. Izzard, who’s been circling the role for weeks, will play the ancient vampire and shape-shifter Grandpa in the show. Bryan Singer will direct.

I wasn't sure about this but with the right people playing the characters it should be fun to watch. This choice is a good beginning because Eddie is a great actor. I love him in anything whether it's serious or funny but I prefer that he keep his accent so we'll see.
