CBS Renews 15 Series; in 'Preliminary' Talks for 'Two and a Half Men'

THR Live Feed:
The No. 1 network has picked up nine dramas, two comedies, two unscripted series and a pair of newsmagazines, joining previous renewals "The Big Bang Theory," "How I Met Your Mother" and "Survivor." The fate of freshman dramas "Unforgettable" and "A Gifted Man" and two "CSI" spinoffs remains uncertain.

CBS is getting ahead of the competition with a series of pickups. Among those returning to the most-watched network are No. 1 series NCIS and spinoff NCIS: LA as well as No. 1 newsmagazine 60 Minutes. They join previously announced returnees How I Met Your Mother, The Big Bang Theory and Survivor on CBS' future schedule, with discussions surrounding the future of Two and a Half Men under way. Left off the list of pickups are rookie dramas A Gifted Man and Poppy Montgomery's Unforgettable, whose futures remain uncertain.

CBS is the best local network. It has the best shows one at the moment. I do watch a few of the shows on NBC, ABC and FOX but they are limited compared to CBS. I hope they continue with their good shows. That said there are a couple of shows I wish they would cancel but it looks like they never will.

Only show on any of those networks I go out of my way to watch is New Girl on Fox. Other than that I just watch the re-runs of all the shows on other networks like TBS etc...lol

TheBigBang and How I Met Your Mother is good, not a fan of CSI though.

I don't watch CSI but I like to watch NCIS, Person Of Interest, Bones, Burn Notice, Justified, and a few other hour dramas and I also like New Girl, New Broke Girls and How I Met Your Mother, and The Big Bang Theory.

I tried watching Broke Girls, I watched like 3 or 4 episodes and I just can't get into it at all....I dunno why, it just wasn't entertaining to me.

Its all subjective. Personally im not a fan of CBS... I find CBS's programming choices to be quite terrible. I do like 2 broke girls, mainly because i have a huge crush on Kat Dennings.
