Jeff, Who Lives at Home is a film that gets you interested because of its comedy, but keeps you invested because of its connecting story that makes every single event in the film happen for a reason, a greater purpose. It hangs on the whole idea of destiny and it progressively changes every main character in the film, leaving you with an impressive film that works off of such a basic concept, expanding it into a performance driven dramedy."

This January Netflix Streaming brings a lot of new films including one of the top grossing films of 2011, several new found footage horror films, Danny DeVito protects the environment, some independent releases, and a straight-to-DVD sequel of a Jason Statham ‘classic’. As usual Netflix has added plenty of catalog films to their lineup as well as including one of Schwarzenegger’s best action films, a gang cult classic, Ferris Bueller takes on Burger King’s most famous sandwich, Keyser Söze brings together the usual suspects, Sean Connery defects, and fish people leave the sea to meet the available women of the Northwest.

Not sure we agree with all these. And where is 'The Avengers.' But hey, it is just an opinion piece!!
I would include it in my Top 10, simply due to the fact that film WAS good. It's an acheivement in and of itself, really.
Totally agree with you on Cabin in the Woods...totally disagree about John Carter, though.

Nick’s Blu-ray Pick of the Week: Blade- X-Men is considered by many to have kicked off the comic book craze especially with regard to the Marvel universe but it was actually Blade that got the ball rolling hauling in an impressive $70+ million at the domestic box office in spite of its ‘R’ rating. Blade has had a somewhat notorious history on Blu-ray already after being released in 2009 by Canadian distributor Alliance. Their release altered the original aspect ratio from 2.35:1 to 1.78:1 and featured plenty of noise, edge enhancement, and washed out colors. This release sports the correct aspect ratio, a DTS-HD Master Audio soundtrack, and the somewhat dated extras from the original DVD release including an audio commentary, featurettes, and a trailer. The third film in the series, Blade Trinity is also being released today while Blade II is scheduled for release July 10th.
