THR says
The studio is in negotiations to hand the reins of the project to John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein, the team behind the "Vacation" script.
New Line is looking in its own backyard to find a director of its planned Vacation reboot.
I know it's been a really long time since we had a good Lampoons movie but I'm still not convinced that they should reboot the series without Chevy Chase and Beverly D'Angelo. I'd love to see a Lampoons Christmas sequel (not that piece of crap direct to video one) with Clark and Ellen dealing with their grandkids.
When I first saw horrible bosses i thought it was hilarious but i bought it and watched it and didnt find it as funny as i remember.
Don't have high hopes for this.
Oh god no....this movie is honestly like a classic, if it isn't. We as a family watch it every single christmas, and we are not the only ones either. I know several families that do the same thing.
They are honestly going to ruin it. It doesn't need a reboot, it doesn't need to be touched, end of story.
