I know it's been a really long time since we had a good Lampoons movie but I'm still not convinced that they should reboot the series without Chevy Chase and Beverly D'Angelo. I'd love to see a Lampoons Christmas sequel (not that piece of crap direct to video one) with Clark and Ellen dealing with their grandkids.

That's my reservation about this news too. I love the Vacation series. The Griswolds are classic. But I'm very much skeptical about Rusty taking center stage here and being the focus and lead character.

I should point out, though, Chevy Chase will indeed be in it to reprise his role of Clark. Don't know about Beverly. But, Chase will be a secondary role from what I understand, which kinda sucks. Guess we'll just have to wait and see.

When I first saw horrible bosses i thought it was hilarious but i bought it and watched it and didnt find it as funny as i remember.

Don't have high hopes for this.

It sucks when that happens. It happened to me once before but I can't recall what movie it was.

I think it's mostly because the movie thrives on throwing the un expected at you. Your first time through we don't really expect them to do what they did, so it's funny. Second time through you already know what happens, so it doesn't surprise you anymore. The more you watch it, the less funny it will be.

Thats why with movies like that I watch it once or twice, then forget it existed for a good few months before watching it again.

Oh god no....this movie is honestly like a classic, if it isn't. We as a family watch it every single christmas, and we are not the only ones either. I know several families that do the same thing.

They are honestly going to ruin it. It doesn't need a reboot, it doesn't need to be touched, end of story.
