If I had my way, we "X-Men: First Class" fans would be getting a sequel this summer. Or this week, for that matter. Unfortunately I don't get my way and we're going to have to wait awhile for a few of the most in-demand actors in the business right now to get some free time to suit-up again. Also there is the matter of needing a script from which to work.
MTV News recently caught up with the sequel's screenwriter Simon Kinberg at the premiere of his latest film, "This Means War," where we discussed his plans for Magneto, Xavier and the rest.

The way he talks about the sequel it sounds like he has several ideas for the sequel and has been working on it. I'm really looking forward to it and have been but just listening to him now in this short interview makes it more real that it's really happening.
Is Mathew Vaughn directing the sequel?
I'm glad that most of the cast is returning so that the characters can continue to develope their relationships and tell their story of where each one's lives takes them.
