A Hollywood take on the first of the popular Swedish novels by Steig Larsson proves to be yet another fantastic film from director David Fincher (Fight Club, The Social Network). Although not staying true to the story as much as the Swedish cinematic adaptation, directed by Niels Arden Oplev, Fincher does provide a faster paced and a more visually stunning piece of cinema.
Final Destination is a reminder of our mortality.

The Parenting Review: It starts off as a fun horror-comedy with a great cast, but loses its charm halfway through. The laughs fade, the scares feel predictable, and by the end, it’s just another forgettable haunted house story.
