#1 - James Newton Howard not winning for The Village OR King Kong.
WHAT. A. JOKE.
And Crash beat Brokeback Mountain because Brokeback Mountain wasn't a very good film. There are much better films out there dealing with homosexuality. If anything, the film was overrated.
I do agree with Hitchcock though. He should have won at LEAST three for Psycho, Vertigo, and The Birds.
i feel crash won over Brokeback mountain is not such a big deal and in my opinion the right choice. Brokeback mountain is a good film but I thought Crash was a better film.
I didn't like Pulp fiction. Felt it too Quentin Tarantino like(not a fan of his films) Gump is a good film but it beating The Shawshank Redemption is more the controversy.
