Production for Disney's next film The Lone Ranger will start filming in New Mexico next month according to a press release from the Governor's office.
The Lone Ranger(Armie Hammer) and his trustee side kick Tonto(Johnny Depp) are heading to New Mexico next month. An official press release from the Governor of New Mexico today announced that the Gore Verbinski directed film will be in the state from Feburary and will finish up in mid August. Filming will be held in the cities of Albuquerque, Santa Fe, and Shiprock. According to the release Disney has been working with the state for over a year to get the movie to film there.
