With all the “re” that Hollywood puts out (remakes, re-imaginings, redos, and prequels), Rise of the Planet of the Apes was one of the better ones produced. Rise of the Planet of the Apes stood out amongst a short crowd this summer, and it did it with acting, plot and special effects. The Blu-ray is wonderful, with an amazing video codec and a dynamite audio track
