TGE:
That's not to say that the Swedish version isn't good, it's just different. Personally, it doesn't depict the world Stieg Larsson created in his novels, which is a deal-breaker as a fan of that series. The three big factors that really made this movie work were Mara's portrayal of Salander, Zaillan's script, and Fincher's gritty atmosphere. This is the definitive film adaptation of Larsson's novel, and it is certainly worth your time.
Final Destination is a reminder of our mortality.
‘It Follows’ still lurks.
The Parenting Review: It starts off as a fun horror-comedy with a great cast, but loses its charm halfway through. The laughs fade, the scares feel predictable, and by the end, it’s just another forgettable haunted house story.
