Movie trailers are a massive deal these days. Hell, many of us today were sitting around anxiously watching a clock countdown in the hopes of seeing one (even though it turned out to be something else entirely). They've become something of an event for fans eagerly awaiting films, and some movies live or die by how good the first trailer's impression is. Sadly Joseph Farrell, the man who invented the movie trailer has passed away.
I never thought of anybody inventing the movie trailer.
This is the worst news since the death of Don LaFontaine.
