IGN says
Will the final Nolan Batman film draw from the Frank Miller classic?
When talking with any fan of superhero comics about the greatest Batman stories, inevitably Frank Miller's Batman: The Dark Knight Returns will enter the discussion. As polarizing a figure as Miller has become in recent years – be it through his films, recent comics output, or his Occupy Wall Street mega-rant – the impact of his work on Batman in the 1980's remains ever relevant.
Christian Bale took on the role of Batman for three motion picture releases, however it seems the actor wasn't pleased with his performance.
SBV: "April 1 starts strong with The Color Purple and Goodfellas. The HBO drama series The Nevers premieres on April 11. And then on April 16, the latest Mortal Kombat film premieres. If you like superheroes, Green Lantern and The Dark Knight Rises are also coming in April."
Is this one of the greatest trilogies of all time?
