Digital Spy:
Tomb Raider producer Graham King has revealed that he took inspiration from Rise of the Planet of the Apes for the Lara Croft franchise reboot.
King told Digital Spy that he has received a script from Iron Man screenwriters Mark Fergus and Hawk Ostby.
"We're going through [the script] creatively, bringing in directors to talk to and then I get that horrible job of sitting with 25-30 young girls that want to play Lara Croft," he said.
With the new The Crow remake coming soon, we take a look back at the 30-year-old cult classic original–and where the stars are now.
Kaam Chalu Hai Review: Based on true events, this movie is thought-provoking and inspiring
Rebel Moon Part 2 Review: This movie doesn't feel anything new or worth remembering, which is a shame.
Legend of Chun Li was supposedly inspired by Batman Begins, so I'll take this with a pinch of salt.
From the article he said it was going to be back when she's looking for her parents. I never read the comics so I'm not even familiar with it being that far back but it was before she became a relic hunter.
Olivia Wilde for the role!!!!
A reboot that's not tied to the new game seems like it will be weird if the two origin stories are completely different. Then again movies based on games are usually bad.
I hope Caesar doesn't make an appearance.
