IGN says
Writer-Director Andrew Stanton believes that, when it comes to marketing, more movies should "own their sh*t."
"To me, if a trailer is looking or sounding like any other trailer out there, then what you're saying to the audience is, 'My movie is just like any other movie,'" noted Stanton on the eve of the trailer premiere for his new film, the ambitious sci-fi epic John Carter. "I tend to worry that marketers are underestimating their audience, which is not what I was trained to do at PIXAR. Own what you really have. Own your sh*t."
With the new The Crow remake coming soon, we take a look back at the 30-year-old cult classic original–and where the stars are now.
Kaam Chalu Hai Review: Based on true events, this movie is thought-provoking and inspiring
Rebel Moon Part 2 Review: This movie doesn't feel anything new or worth remembering, which is a shame.
I haven't had a chance to check this out yet and I know very little of the character but I have to assume it's pretty highly anticipated with all the media hype it's getting. Anyone else out there ACTUALLY know about the source material without reading about it on Wikipedia?
I have no idea how to feel about this. The trailer seemed good...but yet I feel like I have no idea what the hell is actually going on. I can't figure out why he's fighting, who exactly he's fighting, or anything. I'm worried.
It reminds me of Prince Of Persia, just on a different planet.
