This week sees the release of one of my favorite films of 2011 SUPER 8 which is just an absolutely wonderful film that I can't recommend highly enough. We also get a lousy remake of one of my favorite films and a completely unnecessary sequel to a terrible franchise. If there's a dark horse new release it has to be the Devil's Double which I haven't had the pleasure of seeing but I've heard it's quite good just slightly misguided. Also seeing a release is one of the all time classics, a cult classic, and one that falls somewhere in between. Overall it's a pretty damn good line up of films heading into Thanksgiving.
