IGN - If you're already strongly opposed to the franchise, it's unlikely that Breaking Dawn - Part 1 is going to serve as the film that gets you on the Twi-hard bandwagon. There's far less action than in previous installments, choosing to focus more on the relationships between the characters and the impending battle looming between the Volturi (the film's vampire mafia, if you will) and the Cullens. But if you're along for the ride, or even dragged to the theater unwillingly by a loved one, be sure to stick around for the post-credits sequence that teases the final film in the franchise. You can always close your eyes and pretend it's one of those Marvel movie teases we love so much.
