IGN: Between the dead-eyed zombies of The Polar Express and A Christmas Carol, and the cinematic flatulence of Christmas With the Kranks and Fred Claus, the family-friendly Christmas movie has been a festive failure for almost a decade now.
Thankfully, Aardman Animations are here with a gift-wrapped present of a movie that, while unlikely to challenge Elf or The Muppet Christmas Carol for denominational dominance, should at least (yule)tide you over for now.
