New Girl With The Dragon Tattoo TV Spot Is All About Lisbeth Salander

CinemaBlend: "A couple weeks ago a report came out saying that David Fincher has a three hour cut of The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo getting set to be released on December 21st. That, of course, is an abnormal runtime for a movie that exists outside of Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings series, but it's been reflected in the movie's marketing. Back in September a four minute theatrical trailer - approximately twice as long as the average - arrived online and just last week we posted not only a standard 30 second television spot, but a minute-long advertisement as well. Now we have yet another new TV ad, but not only is it once again extended, it contains a good deal of new footage. "

I cannot wait for this movie. The swedtish original is one of my favorites and David fincher is a great director.

I'm kinda on the fence with this one. I know nothing of the original or even the background. I'll probably end up seeing this in the future, just not in the near future - More like a Netflix kinda thing.

Looks good, but I'm not sure how soon I want to watch this when I've already seen the Swedish version. Let Me In was kind of boring when I remembered the original then all I was doing was comparing the differences.

I saw the preview on tv and it's a good one. I hear the movie is really a good but rough story. If it's done well and by the trailer, it looks like it is, I think it will be worth going to watch at the theater.

The advertising for this movie has sucked.

The Parenting Review - K-waves and Beyond

The Parenting Review: It starts off as a fun horror-comedy with a great cast, but loses its charm halfway through. The laughs fade, the scares feel predictable, and by the end, it’s just another forgettable haunted house story.
