Legendary's 'Godzilla' Remake to Be Written By Max Borenstein

Max Borenstein has been tapped to write the planned remake of Godzilla.

Gareth Edwards, the director of the indie sci-fi movie Monsters, is attached to direct the creature feature centered on the giant city-destroying and monster-fighting lizard, which is in development at Legendary Pictures.

What the hell happened to David Goyer? He was the last person they had working on the script. Is Max just going to be working on or touching up Goyer's script, or are they starting from scratch again?

This seems to be taking a long time. This was supposed to hit in 2012 originally, but there's no way that's happening now. I just want another good Godzilla movie.

Yeah, looks like this one is taking a lot longer than it needs to. You would think by now that they would have it down to a science...the story is about the same every time anyway.
