With a cast and crew of virtual newbies, Steven Williford's The Green takes on multiple meanings. This film is Williford's feature debut (having directed TV soap All My Children from 2004-2011) as well as being writer Paul Marcarelli's first. Male leads Jason Butler Harner and Cheyenne Jackson both have respectable histories in television, with bit parts in film littering their resumes. Throw in a couple of fading female co-stars (Julia Ormond and Illeana Douglas) and the result somewhat resembles a Lifetime TV Movie of the Week.
