IGN: Attack the Block is not exactly a user-friendly movie. For anyone who has a hard time understanding dialects, or for those who are hard of hearing, Attack the Block is going to be a confusing chore to get through. The film is written and performed using an inner city British slang that takes some getting used to. Thankfully, the film doesn't really get moving for its first 15 minutes, allowing audiences to get accustomed to the language barrier. Still, this use of slang might isolate some viewers.
