This January Netflix Streaming brings a lot of new films including one of the top grossing films of 2011, several new found footage horror films, Danny DeVito protects the environment, some independent releases, and a straight-to-DVD sequel of a Jason Statham ‘classic’. As usual Netflix has added plenty of catalog films to their lineup as well as including one of Schwarzenegger’s best action films, a gang cult classic, Ferris Bueller takes on Burger King’s most famous sandwich, Keyser Söze brings together the usual suspects, Sean Connery defects, and fish people leave the sea to meet the available women of the Northwest.
Jeremy of We Got This Covered wrote, "It takes a lot for a horror movie to really piss me off and yet The Devil Inside does that in its short 83 minute running time. Never have I seen a horror film with such potential piss it all down the drain with one of the worst endings in the history of film. I can’t really call it a bad ending, because there really isn’t even an ending to begin with. The film coasts on bloody scares that are ripped off directly from other, better films, and yet it still sort of works, but then the screen goes black and you’re left with a partial film. It’s the biggest dick move ever by the studios and I doubt they care as long as they have your money."
"The now notorious finale is such a letdown because it is a culmination of hastily introduced gimmicks intended to shock its audience, which it has demonstrably failed to do because the film is juvenile, lazy and worst of all, cynical. It’s no wonder that audiences have rejected it, good for them."
