Can't wait to check this out....when I get to my parents place...Stupid Internet is down at home...

I really liked it. It's nothing at all like that stupid sounding trailer description we got last week, and I'm glad for it. This looks pretty good, though I think you could kind of tell in a few shots that not all the VFX work is done.

Still I'm stoked and am really looking forward to this movie.

I'm really looking forward to it too. Just need to wait a few more hours then I can go watch the trailer. I have a contact up here that works for a major theater chain and he said he'd see about getting me into an early screening.

This is just so great....I can't tell you how excited I am to fianlly see this and the scenes are going to be awesome! Joss Whedon has outdone himself as I always knew he would. I have and always will be one of his biggest fans and I believe he can just do about anything he sets his mind to.

Love this trialer and can't wait for the movie. Now this is one that everone has to see on the big screen or it would be an injustice.

It looked good. Things I didn't like or want fixed

-Don't want Iron Man leading it. He never did, and still shouldn't, or I will hate this movie. Ill say it now.

-I don't like the fact Scarlett Johansson had literally one shot of her actually doing something, the other shots were her just standing their looking pretty. Her character is actually really cool, and the only thing I liked in Iron Man 2 so use her properly.

-I don't like the new Hulk yet. wish those legal battles never brewed and Edward Norton stayed :( Plus I hope they touch up on the Hulk CG, looked cheesier than the un-finished Spider-Man scene.

Other than that its looking to be a good movie so far. Lets hope it has a story and isn't all about the visuals.

darklordzor4578d ago

Yeah it's important to remember that they still have quite a bit of time left on post-production. I'm sure all of the VFX will be highly touched up in between now and then. Hell there were shots of Iron Man that I thought needed some work.

Honestly, I'm beginning to think Iron Man dominated this trailer because his were the VFX most finished.

Also, I wouldn't mind if he had more control in The Avengers. As far as the movies go, he's had way more personality and presence than any of the others. While it's different in the comics, it's hard to deny that Tony Stark is much bigger in the movies. So I could see them adjusting it to compensate.

Soldierone4578d ago

Yeah no doubt it will be touched up, Im just saying from this perspective I want that fixed. :P

As for IronMan I was a big fan of Iron Man till the movies were made. Personally wouldn't go see Iron Man 3, I'd wait for DVD release. So I don't want him leading.

Marvel hasn't given a chance to any of the other characters. Captain America SHOULD be leading the team, and I don't care if Iron Man is "more popular" thats the way it is to me. I loved Thor and I loved Captain America, Cap can easily pull this movie together. If its Iron Man I will honestly just go cry and wait for Spider-Man to be involved before I ever return. lol

Baka-akaB4577d ago

You forget that the content of those movies seems as as much from the ultimate universe than regular one .

Besides Cap wasnt the de facto leader from the very first minute ... and has often been challenged by Stark , who bankrolled the team from day one , among other reasons .

The movie should reflect that a bit , wich i think it's doing .

lodossrage4577d ago

Cap wasn't exactly the leader of the team. And it's as he said, Iron man was the financial backing. Most of the time Iron man led the team. Captain America usually lead if Iron man wasn't around.

Not just that, people have to remember, when the avengers were FIRST formed, Cap wasn't even there yet.

Soldierone4577d ago

It isn't about the beginnings. People are always saying how they change it and roll with the new times, and then we say well Avengers follows the beginnings?

I understand Stark was a financial guy, but he was also reluctant and Cap was the leader hero wise, at least in the newer stories. Even in the animated show and animated movies Cap was the leader, Stark was ever hardly around.

Yes this is backed by my dislike of the IronMan movies, and yes I'm more of a DC Comics person so my opinion is clouded. However my opinion is my opinion, if IronMan is leading the way in this movie I will not like it. Its like letting Batman lead the Justice League hero wise and standing upfront just because The Dark Knight is the more popular movie....its dumb. Was he one of the leaders? yes. But it was always Superman that stood in the front and lead into action.

Again its my opinion, thats why I don't care about the disagrees lol.

My god soldier - so cynical for such a young guy. Joss Whedon is not a dumb guy however, this is a huge ensemble cast and there's really only so much they can do with each character. so a few of them are maybe left behind a shade - they're tertiary characters anyway. Hawkeye means SFA to me. Same with Johanssons character (Sweet phone pics Scarlett).

The big characters that need to be focal are, the enemies(Skrulls), Cappy, Iron Man and Thor with the rest as more of a supporting role.

Soldierone4578d ago

Yeah I don't disagree. I'm not saying give her a major part, but why does she have to be pushed all the way down the poll to the "stand there and look sexy" role? I mean a majority of the heroes are most likely capable of bringing the girls from their movies with them that could easily take that role for a few scenes couldn't they?

And if they don't want to or can't do it correctly then why do it at all. He did Toy Story so he knows how to develop them all correctly and just enough to keep each one interesting. Like I said this is solely based off the trailer, by no means am I saying anything negative about the movie lol

and I think I'm getting disagrees for saying I don't like Iron Man 2, I get that a lot, but I stick by my opinion :D

looks good plenty of protential (yea i know spelling sucks) cant wait!!!

DarkBlood4578d ago

trailer was cool for me so i cant wait to see it just wish there was a bit more hulk in it though lol

Crazay4578d ago

I think that alot of people are anxious to see the Hulk. A few people I know are nervous because they hated what the Hulk looked like in the most recent version. Personally I thought he was awesome looking. This one does seem to me, that he's a little more on the "Huskier" side. His face and body(from what I can see) just seems to be thicker.

darklordzor4578d ago

Yeah I loved the Hulk in the last movie (with Ed Norton) I thought he looked great in that film. I don't understand why they'd bitch about that.
