The LRA Show Rewind - The Thing (1982)

LRA writes: Trust is a hard thing to come by for this rewind episode as we journey to the infamous U.S. Outpost 31 in Antarctica where we settle down and talk about one of my favorite horror films of all time, John Carpenter's The Thing. It doesn't take long for paranoia to sink in as we struggle to survive and stay on point as we delve into some of the history for the film with the novella it is based on, the original 1951 version The Thing From Another World, give our impressions on the 1982 film itself and discuss what we think has made it prevail as a horror classic almost 30 years after its initial release. While recording we did encounter a few technical difficulties as well so we do apologize in advance for any audio issues that are present. Featured music is from "The Thing (1982)" motion picture soundtrack.
