I'm amazed at how fast this release came out. I'm still waiting for a Left 4 Dead movie series to come out.

I honestly don't know how I feel about it. Like the gaming industry, movies are starting to be flooded with the zombie genre. Don't get me wrong I love all things zombie, but I worry we'll reach an over-saturation point. I mean, all of them are starting to look the same, and need to do something different to really stand out. Let's just hope they can do that with this movie.

i thought there was a decline in the zombie genre as far as movies go outside of comedy ones like zombieland? there are less and less zombie movies coming out due to lack of support and budget issues.

Well, we've got World War Z, Warm Bodies, Resident Evil 5, Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, plus the Walking Dead TV show, Romero is working on another one, now Dead Island.

And those are just the big ones. There are dozens more on the smaller circuits. It's still a genre that's pumping out flicks.
