"Gold Circle Films has brought onboard three co-writers from the Golden Globe-nominated, Halle Berry drama Frankie & Alice to remake the Taiwanese supernatural thriller Silk. Written/directed by Chao-Bin Su, the 2006 pic (originally titled Gui si) tells the story of a group of scientists who manage to trap a child’s ghost in an apartment. From there, the film centers on the detective who is responsible for learning the ghost’s identity and the cause of its demise."
With Venom nearing release, Sony is said to be eyeing another spin-off focusing on Korean-American superhero Cindy Moon, aka Silk.
Female Spider-Man has been around for a very, very long time. Several decades I believe and she is pretty cool. There is also, Madame Web who often mentors Spider-Man. I know its popular to scream gender equality every time something like this happens, but you might want to do some actual research before blindly throwing an opinion out there. You know, not blindly make an assumption about a particular issue like many SJWs, that you seem to be oppose to, do. So yeah, I am looking forward to this movie, I hope its good.
Nobody cares about Silk. Just hand the rights back to Marvel/Disney.
I'm all for it as long as it's a good action movie with a good storyline. I mean...why not. The more good movies, the better is how I see it.
That storyline could become the new script for Ghostbusters 3.
