It looks like the Ghostbusters will be coming back to theaters and not in a sequel yet. The official Ghostbusters Facebook page announced this recently: "All right, Ghostbusters fans. It's time to get your cats and dogs together and prepare for mass hysteria: This October, for the first time in over 25 years, the original and unforgettable Ghostbusters makes its triumphant return to theaters!" No other details were released, so who ya gonna call?

Why not make it a double-bill and include the second film too?
I still remember the first time I saw this movie and it was great then and still is. The second one wasn't as good but it was still okay. I'm not really into them making a 3rd one at least not with the same people unless they just make cameos because they are kind of older now and wouldn't really be realistic for them to be doing the same thing now.
If they re-release this I am so going to drag all of my friends to this. Ghostbusters on the big screen would be epic!
