That’s the feeling you get when you watch Contagion. Soderbergh’s portrayal of society is both refreshing, and terrifying. The strength of the movie is in its realism. If a virus broke out today that has the potential to wipe out millions of the population how would we react? Contagion looks at this, and does a really good job at giving varying viewpoints, while the CDC looks tries to find an answer. But does that make the film any good?
