Warner Bros. has setup an untitled drama that teams Mel Gibson and screenwriter Joe Eszterhas on the telling of the heroic story of Judah Maccabee. Joe Eszterhas has had highs like Basic Instinct and lows like Showgirls. Mel Gibson's highs and lows have been more out there in general. As for the story, Judah Maccabee was the Jewish warrior who teamed with his father and four brothers to lead the Jewish revolt against the Greek-Syrian armies that had conquered Judea in the second century B.C. It's an intriguing story with a colorful pair set to bring it to the big screen.
With the new The Crow remake coming soon, we take a look back at the 30-year-old cult classic original–and where the stars are now.
Kaam Chalu Hai Review: Based on true events, this movie is thought-provoking and inspiring
Rebel Moon Part 2 Review: This movie doesn't feel anything new or worth remembering, which is a shame.
Oh God, please prevent another Mel Gibson meltdown.
I would think this movie would make MORE Mel Gibson meltdowns. I hope he's getting better though, he's been sick for a while now.
I think making a movie would be the best thing for him...not necessarily this movie but a movie anyway.
