Player Affinity writes: Dammit, "Blair Witch"... What have you brought on us? It's a testament to how easily folks scare in a movie theater when these low-budget films do well – inspiring film students with no money everywhere. Cloverfield, Quarantine and Paranormal Activity all use this "found footage" approach, some more successfully than others. Apollo 18 tries valiantly to raise the bar for this young genre, but ultimately falls flat in nearly every way.
