Wilson of The Daily Rotation wrote, "You know what’s a good movie? Piranha 3D. I mean what wasn’t to love about that movie? It had tits, a cheesy and laughable story/cast, and tons of blood and gore. It was an enjoyable movie. A couple years later, we get Shark Night. Wouldn’t you know, it had relatively the same story; a pack of teens go to a lake to party and start getting picked off one by one."
With the new The Crow remake coming soon, we take a look back at the 30-year-old cult classic original–and where the stars are now.
Kaam Chalu Hai Review: Based on true events, this movie is thought-provoking and inspiring
Rebel Moon Part 2 Review: This movie doesn't feel anything new or worth remembering, which is a shame.
Piranha 3D = THE PERFECT GUYS MOVIE!!! That movie was also directed by one of my favorite horror directors Alexandre Aja who knows gore. Not sure about this one, but I'm still checking it out tomorrow. The perfect movie to sneak in a few beers with the guys.
Ok, let me make one thing abundantly clear:
I am absolutely terrified of ANYTHING that lives in water.
TERRIFIED, especially of sharks.
You'd have much better luck performing brain surgery on yourself entering from your anus with two cat whiskers for arms than getting me to take ANY kind of boat out of ANY South African port (because boats and ships sink)!
But judging from the commercials I've seen, this movie does not look scary in any way. It just looks waaaaaaaaaayyy too cheesy to be scary.
Unless it's not supposed to be... :/
