Another Villain Joins ‘The Dark Knight Rises’

Hypable says

Hypable has received a tip from a legitimate source that a very exciting villain, previously believed to not be featured in the film, will be cast in The Dark Knight Rises!

Before anything is said, Hypable would just like to make sure you take this with a grain of salt. This is being listed under the extreme rumor category, but if it comes to be true, remember where you heard it first!

Not buying it. Or at least it will be something of a very quick and very brief cameo (like the ones we saw during the Arkham breakout in Batman Begins). Nolan has already said that Riddler won't be a part of the movie, so if he does show up, it won't be anything significant. Just enough for fans to go "oh wow!"

Crazay4641d ago

That's a strong possibility for sure but I was thinking that maybe he's in league with Bane - perhaps against his will and he';s the creator of the device that is used in the football stadium.

darklordzor4641d ago

I wouldn't even go that far. When Bane does the prison riot/break out, we may see Edward Nigma coming out of jail. Or even playing a role like Scarecrow does and he's leading a small gang. I don't even think he'd be an essential part of the plot. Just a true cameo.

Who was shown in Batman Begins villain wise?

LtSkittles4641d ago

Zsasz (Cameo)
Falcone
ScareCrow
and Ras' Al Ghul.

I think that's it.

exsturminator014641d ago

To add to LtSkittles complete list, I'd also mention that during the scene where Batman escapes the asylum in Begins, they show two inmates looking out their windows as Batman runs by. I think they were meant as vague cameos. One looked VERY much like Penguin, and the other I was never sure of.

Zsasz (Cameo) - When? At the end during the rioting scenes?

RufustheKing4640d ago

i believe Mr Zsasz is in 2 scenes in batman begins. in the court room which Peacful has shown and when they all break out. i think he is about to attack rachel before batman swoops in to save here.

i could be wrong.

If this is true all will be forgiven but its highly unlikely unless catwoman decides to be batmans ally then that will work. Two villians the Riddler and bane with catwoman helping out Batman. Might explain why shes riding his bike OOPS that came out wrong...

Dramscus4640d ago

Weren't Batman and Catwoman love interests in the comic books originally. I don't think she ever played a true villain.

She's always been more chaotic neutral, a high class jewel thief most of the time. Occasionally stealing a plot device, then exchanging sexy banter with batman.

gaden_malak4640d ago (Edited 4640d ago )

She's been both good and bad.

She helped him with Hush.

Ive learned along time ago anything can happen and directors still want some suprises. But who knows, it would be cool but if not ohh well movie still looks sick.

I will be really happy if the Riddler is included,I just hope Nolan doesn't cast that kid Joseph.GL as Riddler.

Camb316914640d ago (Edited 4640d ago )

Joseph plays a cop apparently who i believe has no connection to the comics. I think his name is, i wanna say, blake?

EDIT: it's John Blake.
Riddler cameo or even a mention would be awesome.

MinimeJer054640d ago

Having the Riddler in TDKR would be awesome, but I won't be getting my hopes up.
