Director Mark Neveldine says Ghost Rider 2 star Nicolas Cage shares the same level of insanity as himself and co-director Brian Taylor.
That's saying something, especially when the directing duo did everything from roller skating behind a motorcycle to swinging on bungee cords to shoot scenes in Ghost Rider: Spirit Of Vengeance. Equally, Nic Cage is the most over the top actor that specialises in eccentric characters. Neveldine said the following to Marvel.com
Nic [Cage] is as insane as we are, which is nice because it’s a nice blend of insane powers. A meeting of the insanity, I guess you could call it.

Good to hear. Neveldine/Taylor are nuts, but I love their directing style and Nic Cage has been getting more fruity over the past few years, which isn't really a bad thing. I find him very funny and enjoyable.

Ever since i heard about this movie (here even) ive been loving what ive been finding out and this just tops it .
they said its gonna be more of a horror dark movie compared to the first one, bout fucken time.

I'm so happy he's getting this movie done. Cage and his dad used to love the comic book when he was a kid and he talks about it all the time so I think it was a personal thing for him too. I know I'm going to enjoy this movie but then again....I really liked the first one so if this one is better, I'll be happy.
