FX is adding another No. 1 summer opener to its movie lineup. The cable network has bought the exclusive TV rights to this weekend's new entry, Fox's Rise Of The Planet of The Apes, which is exceeding expectations and is now on track to gross $50 million.
Deliver Me Review: The Swedish series follows two troubled teen and their troublesome lives when one of them is shot dead.
Fight For Paradise Review: This reality show is nothing new but there are so many uncomfortable moments that will definitely give you the ick.
Brigands: The Quest For Gold Review: The Italian drama follows a group of brigands, embarking on a journey to reclaim power and some hidden gold.
FX has been very busy lately picking up all these good movies before anyone else. I think that's a smart thing to do these days. I know I like to watch them sometimes on there.
I think its rather awesome we get to watch all these on regular TV. However like the first comment on the site mentioned, HBO and so on have to be getting rather pissed. FX has pretty much every major movie so far, leaving the paid channels absolutely nothing.
Another thing that totally surprises me is the studios are selling them to FX....being as greedy as them, you would assume a contract with HBO wouldn't only give them more money, but have less people watching it "for free"
I'm actually glad that FX got all those big movies but thing is were gonna be seeing them like in 5 years, as opposed to HBO showing the movies they've aquired like a year later.
I pay alot for cable and hardly ever watch it. I go to the movies more then i sit down to watch something coming on cable, Heck if it wasn't for "work" id never be on the internet either, lol.
