Mr. Popper (Jim Carrey - Yes Man) is all about his high-profile job and doesn't spend enough quality time with his kids now that he has separated from wife Amanda (Carla Gugino - Sin City). His father was an explorer that never spent enough time at home either. After he passes away, Popper inherits a special gift from his Dad, a penguin. Before long 6 more penguins arrive and take over Mr. Popper's life. But when his kids fall in love with the birds he has no choice but to keep them. Cue chaos and destruction as the penguins start to turn Mr. Popper's world upside down but in the process, bring him closer to his family.
