In recent years I've had to sit through a fair share of kids movies and I've seen some pretty bad ones. It's no secret that A common approach is to completely recycle plots and story lines. Then again, that's not a far stretch from the traditional Hollywood model either. That being said although 'The Smurfs' isn't ground breaking they did seem to spend a little more time on the script than say... this year's 'Yogi Bear'.
