The second season of Syfy's Haven will premiere in about two weeks. As I write, HBO's True Blood has just started its fourth summer run, and the CW's Supernatural has been renewed for a seventh fall season. We are now so used to having our share of genuine supernatural dramas that it might come as a surprise to many that it wasn't always the case. In fact, the weird and unexplained — for a long time — wasn't considered safe enough to be given free rein in a TV series, and when it occasionally happened, the resulting series rarely ran for more than a season.
Dinner with the Parents Review: It's a family comedy series following the Langers, who often turn their family dinners into a disruptively chaotic affair.
Bros Review: The series, as the title suggests, is about two adult men who want to behave like children and we are not here for that.
Going Home With Tyler Cameron Review: This is a simple, no-nonsense but cliched watch, with Cameron's boyish charms taking centre stage.
I'm just glad they do show the weird and unusual. I don't know what I'd do if all there was to watch was doctor/hospital, lawyer, and soap type dramas on at night...I wouldn't watch.
I love my supernatural and out of this world shows...Supernatural especially. Haven is a good show. Fringe is good, Nine Lives of Chloe King is looking pretty good for now, don't care much for Vampire Dairies but we need a good vampire show on. I wish we had something like Buffy back on tv.
