The war of the Autobots and Decepticons continues this summer on the big screen with Michael Bay’s Transformer’s: Dark of the Moon. 36% on Rotten Tomatoes for critics, 90% by audiences? Jesus, people are dumb.

Now don't get me wrong, the movie is fun, but you just become so bored during the whole middle part of the movie.

Del6734738d ago

Not that people are dumb, just that film critics expect something different than the average Joe IMO.

I'm still on board with people are dumb, I actual knew the people that liked the 2nd one. When i ask about the part where they smash out of the Smithsonian in Washington D.C. and straight into an airplane graveyard. They tell me they must of teleported.......COME ON. Plot was just horrible, there is no way I'll way money this going to the theater. I learned from my mistake, thanks for the lesson Micheal Bay.

People don't go into a Transformers movie expecting great storytelling or astounding character performances. They go in for the transformers and the action combined with a ton of explosions.

The critics review movies for quality, not for the quality of the movie as it relates to the target audience/public desire.

Even intelligent people know not to take these type of movies seriously; it doesn't mean they can't be entertaining, though. Hell, Lincoln was even murdered while watching a play that was essentially our modern day Beverly Hillbillies. Wouldn't call him an idiot, but it's obviously he just liked to laugh at people acting like idiots.

They say you have to turn your brain off to watch some movies, but I never bought that excuse. There should always be some aspects of a movie that you can appreciate, but I have a hard time finding them in Transformers. The editing is nauseating, the plot is nonsensical, the acting is poor. It's just a big hollow spectacle of a film. Godzilla with talking robots.

I personally think that this one is better than the second one and i'm not really a fan of this series.

I find that critics are almost always the exact opposite on what most people think about a movie.

Meh not too sure Ill watch it. Didn't really like the first two, doesn't seem as if this is too different. Probably give it a rent tho.

My Anxiety Personified In "Inside Out 2" - Review | Everyone Gaming

Inside Out 2 has got to be the animation movie of the year for me so far. It had everything I wanted from the original and so much more I never could have anticipated. From the very first opening scene with that nostalgic, wholesome piano keys of the theme sound from the first movie, it was like my soul was transported back into the feelings the first movie brought about while bringing me wholly into the world of the sequel.
