I wasn’t prepared to be blown away by Super 8, but blown away I was. I’m sure by now everyone’s read the comparisons – it’s The Goonies meets Close Encounters meets Jaws meets E.T. And it’s true, J.J. Abrams’s influences are evident, and with Steven Spielberg producing, his modern day tribute to the classics is destined to become a new addition to the canon. This movie quite literally has “it all”. I laughed (hard). I cried (a lot). I cringed. I stared in awe. Since it’s been so rampantly reviewed, I’d instead like to share the eight things I enjoyed most about this film.
This season's American Horror Story 12 is based on the book Delicate Condition by Daniel Valentine, a notable horror author. Actress and dramatist Hayley Pfeifer has written all the episodes of this series. Emma Rose Roberts is playing the character of Anna Alcott, a girl who desperately wants to get pregnant. Still, a sinister hinders her pregnancy and wishes she would never get pregnant. So many things happen to Anna Alcott, but her husband does not believe her.
