James McAvoy In Talks For Danny Boyle's Heist Thriller Trance

The last we heard about Danny Boyle's next film, Trance, was when it was reported that quickly-rising-star Michael Fassbender was in talks to star in the film. Now it looks like his X-Men: First Class co-star is going to get the gig instead. Variety is reporting a developing story that James McAvoy, who starred as Charles Xavier to Fassbender's Erik Lehnsherr in the Matthew Vaughn directed superhero flick, is now in early talks to star in Danny Boyle's 127 Hours follow-up.

mcavoy did real good as xavier and he could go on to do some very good stuff. as for danny boyle, i'm always up for seeing more of his stuff. a heist thriller from him could be cool.

McAvoy is just showing up everywhere now...before you know it, he'll be all played out from doing everything. He's good though. So far I've liked him in what I've seen him do.
