A competently made horror film; decently performed, wonderfully shot, nicely worded, engaging, and at times, incredibly frightening. Full review by Chris Pandolfi.
Described as a slow-burn ‘70s-style horror movie, YellowBrickRoad certainly delivered on atmosphere. What it didn’t deliver on was making any kind of sense, or providing an adequate/satisfactory ending. With an extremely limited release this week as part of Bloody Disgusting Selects, YellowBrickRoad struck WGTC as particularly offensive in that it failed to live up to its awesome potential.
