The Primate Perspective Review: Green Lantern

As a bit of a comics nerd I was curious, excited and a bit sceptical as to how Warner Bros were going to bring this one of DC’s most galactic of superheroes to the big screen and if it was going to work. With the recent releases of Thor and X-men: First Class the bar has been set pretty high for the other Summer Super-Hero movies lying in wait. The efficient storytelling and character development in both Thor and X-men: First Class doesn’t do Green Lantern any favours. The pacing is very uneven and parts that need layering don’t get it. On top of that clichéd parts get repeated far too many times.
