Influenced by the Past: The Work of J.J Abrams and Quentin Tarantino

Last week Brad asked me if I was interested in writing an article examining the work of two top Hollywood directors, J.J. Abrams (Star Trek) and Quentin Tarantino (Inglourious Basterds). Both filmmakers often wear their influence on their sleeves to the point some have accused both men of being derivative at times and, in Quentin's case, some have gone as far as to call him a plagiarist.

I had already forgotten about Tarantino being in Alias. He was the bad guy in the I think the last season or the next to the last season of Alias. He was pretty good to. I didn't even know who he was back then.
