DVD and Blu-ray Releases for the Week of June 7, 2011

Per usual, I’m here to highlight what’s hitting shelves this week. As the summer kicks off, so does the time when big releases release on DVD and Blu-ray. This week’s highlights include True Grit starring Jeff Bridges, James Cameron’s Sanctum and Adam Sandler’s Just Go With It (as well as Blu-ray releases of a few of his past movies).

Furthermore, we get the Superman Anthology Blu-ray release this week. Also, several new seasons of hit TV shows will hit shelves including Breaking Bad, White Collar and Burn Notice.

Well, this week I got my DVD of True Grit and Green Lantern Emerald Knights with Nathan Fillion as Hal Jordan. I still need 4th season of Burn Notice but I'll be waiting for the sale price and it will go on sale eventually.....love my Burn Notice!

Since I'd already seen True Grit at the movies, I instantly took it to my best friends house for them to watch because she just had foot surgery and can't get around. They haven't seen it and I know they are going to love it like I did.
