Shadowlocked - Hanna, the story of a girl raised to be an assassin, has been criticised as little more than a showcase of director Joe Wright’s talents – but what is wrong with that?
LRA writes: Our efforts to avert disaster by avoiding this past weeks horrible offerings were only partially successful when our back up films turned out to be no better with only a couple exceptions. Other than Brian, who played a bit of catch up this week by explaining why both Hanna and Rango were two of last years best films, James and I found ourselves on the complete opposite side of the spectrum with our film choices which include the new fantasy/adventure Journey 2: The Mysterious Island and the comedy(?) Tim & Eric's Billion Dollar Movie. We also find some time to cover some recent television shows we have been watching as well as our thoughts on the 84th Academy Awards show. Featured music this week is from the album "Journey's Greatest Hits" and the "Rango" motion picture soundtrack.

This is the first review I've read that says it all. I did like this movie and for all the reasons you've stated . The story line, the cinematography, the music, the action and the twist at the end of the movie that did give the movie closure. It gave her closure so she could possibly go out and have a normal life.
I enjoyed this movie very much.
