The Voice Of TV: Well it is official, NBC has confirmed ‘The Event‘ will not be returning next season. This is both saddening and happy news. It’s saddening to the fact that another scripted show falls, especially one with a promising premise. It is however happy news to the fact that this particular scripted show that failed to execute that premise will no longer be moving on. What started off as an average sci-fi thrill ride has turned into a mockumentary of its own the past couple of weeks. It gives me no joy to rip on the show, but it does so little to defend itself as to be taken seriously.
City Hunter Review: The manga adaptation unravels the tragic beginning of Ryo Saeba and Kaori Makimura's partnership.
Deliver Me Review: The Swedish series follows two troubled teen and their troublesome lives when one of them is shot dead.
Fight For Paradise Review: This reality show is nothing new but there are so many uncomfortable moments that will definitely give you the ick.
I'm glad it's not coming back...it was one of those that was hard to keep up with and it was on Monday night. They should have put on Wednesday when there was very little to watch...then it might have made it.
I stopped watching the second half so I didn't know...got tired of trying to keep up with it.
Well summer is here now and I've got good stuff coming back like Leverage, Memphis Beat, Rizzoli & Isles, Falling Skies, and the Closer all on TNT. Then on USA I got Burn Notice and Covert Affairs coming back. All of these are really good for summer watching. At least I know all of them are except Falling Skies and I'm sure that one will be really good when it starts.
