Set to arrive on Fox midseason 2012, "Alcatraz" is the latest series from executive producers J.J. Abrams and Elizabeth Sarnoff ("LOST", "Deadwood"). The network has debuted the first trailer for the series and you can check it out in the player below.
Starring Sarah Jones, Jorge Garcia, Sam Neill, Parminder Nagra, Robert Forster, Santiago Cabrera and Jonny Coyne, the series is officially described as follows:

This looks FREAKIN AWESOME!!! Almost like a cross between The Rock and The 4400 which was cancelled very uncerimoniously I might add.
It certainally does....do people like JJ Abrams and Steven Speilberg ever sleep?
I just wish I had a 10th of their brain power...what I could do with that!
This trailer looks really good so I think I'll watch it and see where it goes.
