hopefully it doesn't turn into a splosion-fest gimmicky-hand-camera view like cloverfield. I loved the approached they had in the first one.

I don't know why this movie is called monsters. This movie is a worthless piece of petrified diarrhea. The "monsters" that only appear towards the end of the movie are more like cattle that a grazing for grass in a field. They don't do anything, and there is no excitement in this movie whatsoever.

I found that the movie was basically about 2 people just walking around and commenting on stuff, and never actually anything much happened. I can't remember even 1 cool part of the movie, because I don't think there was any.

I was fooled by the claims that it was a greatest monster movie of the era and all this shit by the writing on the dvd cover. I don't know who wrote this, but whoever it is, I imagine that this is probably the first monster movie they have ever seen. That is the only way possible to find this to be a great monster movie.

I feel sorry for anyone who rents this. I wasted 560 Microsoft points renting it on the Zune service on my xbox, and had my family over to watch it because it claimed to be so good. The entire movie I felt embarrassed and nobody liked it at all.

A decent monster movie a The Host. That was an ok one. Other than that though, you really can't go wrong with Godzolla and his buddies.

Please don't watch the first movie, because if you all do they will think we want another one.. :(

Never seen Monsters, but it doesn't appear I missed out on anything worth my time.

Comparing the storyline to "Heart of Darkness" is pretty bold. That's big time cinematic royalty. Coppola's Apocalypse Now adaptation is superb.

I saw this on Netflix about a month ago. It is slow but I enjoyed it. I didn't really have any expectation about it so I went into it with ab open mind and was pretty impressed. I can see how it wouldn't be for everyone, but I enjoyed it.

No sequel.. don't wanna get bored to death.. AGAIN!
